Troy and I saw on Friday night, in IMAX. blown away. this is very much an adult Batman. going into the revival comics from the late 90's. Ledger's take on the Joker is everything he should be, a psychotic murderer. Not for young ones. The Joker should be someone feared, when he cracks a joke and laughs, the joke should make everyone else in the room want to puke. Ledger nailed it, no wonder he couldn't sleep and was taking multiple sleeping aids before his untimely end. I also liked Aaron Eckhart's take on Harvey Dent. you truly do not want him to take the turn into Two Face. He is the white knight to Batman's dark knight. He wants to make a difference in Gotham and is willing to put himself at risk for the greater good.
My review of the film is compared to other great crime films, The Untouchables, the Godfather series, etc. you will know within the first 10 minutes if you will like the tone of the show and it just keeps you on the freight train pace from there to the end.
Buckle up Bonehead. 'Cause you're goin' for a ride!
