Journey to the Center of the Earth 3-d
Posted: Wed Jul 23, 2008 5:01 pmSaw it with the family. It was a decent movie to take your kids to. Not too many intense scenes (with the exception you've all seen of being chased by a t-rex.) I thought the 3d angle (pun. sorry) would be hokey, but it turned out to be pretty neat. Very much like the 5 minute Disney movies you would see at Disneyland/world on one of their rides (a bug's life, Mickey's symphony, etc.). I recommend it as a G to take the whole family to - just don't expect too deep a plot (again, pun. sorry), but it is a different and good way of presenting Jules Verne in a new light. Let me know if you find it intertaining (although kid stuff).
