This is just for the record. I can't recommend it in good faith.
There is an animated straight-to-video film version of Dragonlance that I just finished watching. It was made in 2008 and features the voices of Keifer Sutherland and Lucy Lawless, among others. It was kind of fun to see the old characters from Dragonlance reprised for a movie. That is pretty much its only redeeming quality. The animation was mixed with very primative computer graphics of the dragons and draconians that seemed much earlier in quality than the 2008 creation date would suggest. The voice talents were completely flat and un-emotional and the characters were not developed very well. The story was very D&D, and the fighting scenes were fairly graphic and bloody - not a cartoon for your kids to watch. Overall, it was pretty much a waste of time, but I thought you might come across it and want to see what it is about. Unless you are really bored or nostalgic for Dragonlance days, I wouldn't bother.
