Underworld: Awakening

OK, I'll admit it: the Underworld movies are for me a guilty pleasure. I liked the first two about the war between vampires and werewolves -- thankfully, well before Twilight came out. The third one was kind of a throwback. The new one is out today. I went. I saw. I thought it was awesome.

It may not be your cup of tea. Extremely gory. However, if that doesn't detract too much for you, this is a movie you should see. The whole way it was filmed is very film noir and has incredible special effects and not too bad of a storyline, which DOES continue where the 2nd Underworld left off. And they left it open for another sequel. I hope this does well enough to warrant it, because it is, as I said, a guilty pleasure.

Yeah, I have to admit I enjoy these as well, so I'll probably be seeing it sooner or later... probably later since my movie time is still spent mostly on family films. lol
