Okay an update for all. Sorry I didn’t get this out earlier. My computer got nuked including your characters so I don’t have them although I partially recall what they were. So as part of the update I will be using your real names. Your characters are as follows
Lorin= 12th level human? Maybe half elf? warmage and new lord of Shadowdale so you have the pendant of Ashaba
Rob= 11th level Dwarven paladin recently found in the catacombs under the twisted tower so you didn’t have much in the way of equipment. Please remedy that
Scott= Dead, pick a new character. 11th level properly equipped. 60500 xp The race options from my previous email are open to you.
Joel= 11th or 12th level Elven arcane duelist
Jaren= 12th level dwarven sonnlinor
Special note if you want to change characters now would be the time. You should all be at least 11th level if you are not make sure you set your XP to 60,500 and level up.
Recap- you have just freed Shadowdale and spent the last couple weeks reestablishing peace in the area. You learned that the agents of Shar allied with the drow house of dhuirrinvar?(Can’t remember spelling or exact house) were again trying to set up a world where Mystra’s influence and magic would be negated completely and the shadow weave would reign supreme. In your fight to rid the area of Sharran influence you recovered the Pendant of Ashaba that when asks proclaims the rightful Lord of Shadowdale. This pendant is in Lorin’s possession and has proclaimed him king. You also recovered an ancient elven artifact known commonly as the War blade along with two wishsong tower rings. In the final events at the twisted tower Simon and his Dwarven friend Boric appeared and assisted in the onslaught to free the tower. Simon’s motives were only partially to assist in the freeing of Shadowdale. He appeared for something more important to his heart, the Warblade. He understands better than anyone the implications of finding one more of the ancient blades and he wanted to ensure its safety. He knows he cannot wield the blade himself but took possession of it until Joel decides to attempt the bonding ritual or not. He also took the gold wishsong tower ring to authenticate it; leaving you the silver one and told all of you to come to, the recently restored, Myth Drannor once you had reestablished order and peace in Shadowdale. He told you to not seek him out by name but to ask for the Spell Major or the Coronal, and to show any sentry a pin that is a black sword which he gives to Jaren at Boric’s request. (a lesser pin of the Blackened Sword, allows the wearer to dimension door as the spell 1/day, and Misdirection for the wearer, as the spell, to whatever it is pinned )
Simon says (Ha Ha Ha get it?) that he believes something more is a foot if the agents of Shar were in possession of Wishsong Tower rings and he hopes with your help to investigate this further. A few weeks after independence you find yourselves traveling to Myth Drannor fully equipped, healthy, and somber about the uncertain prospects that await you.
