Sounds like it is a labor of love (as mentioned in the article) by some gamer software developer somewhere, but the limited application (only plays on iPad or iPhone) speaks volumes to my historical (hysterical) complaint about Apple : it only runs on their hardware, and if you don't have it, you're screwed. This sounds like a decent enough tool for game prep, but if you don't happen to have the hardware, what can you do? Why not make the software more ubiquitous and have it run on something like Java so it could be ported to any platform and run on whatever people have? That would be getting it into the hands of those who would most like to use it rather than just those who can afford it or who have bought into the Apple-only corporate line hook, line and sinker.

It is a good idea, but limited in scope and execution. Thanks for bringing it to our attention, Jaren. Hopefully someone will crank out the tools that will really help us minimize-prep/maximize-fun in our game play endeavors.
