October Game Night...?

Is it worth even posting? Between Deer hunt, UEA and Halloween, it's going to be a tight month for me.

Any thoughts for days?

I don't think we have a snowball's chance in Florida to get everyone together for an October game night. So I have an idea for second best . . .

I know time away from families is tight, so if there isn't support for this idea, I'll totally understand.

I am now the proud owner of two DVD's: Unicorn City, and The Gamers: Dorkness Rising. We have talked about both here on our site and they are spot on D&D gamers royalty videos. I propose picking a night, convening at my house, using my downstairs theater room, and providing snacks and food just like a normal game night and watching either or both of these shows for group nerd experience. Just tell me outright if you would be interested in doing this. If no one posts, they will always be around for a different time - or, my family can watch with me and wonder why I am laughing uncontrollably at all the jokes they think are probably funny, but they just don't get them.

I think that sounds like a great idea, Rob. Unless the game night comes together, lets plan on your plan.

I'm totally good for gaming on the 26th but I would arrive at 6:00 pm so I would have a little bit of a late start. if we can do Friday the 26th then great if not I'm totally game for the movies Rob on the same night. Let's all chime an and see what can be done.

lol, ahh, well so much for this month. I'm only available, and that's a maybe at this point, for Friday. Saturday is a soccer game with the son.

Let's try for early November. Maybe we could do an early one, then an early one in December... OR a late one the week before new years.
