The "other" announcement
Posted: Thu Jan 06, 2011 9:00 pmNo, the news of our not expecting a baby is still good. We are out of the baby production business, but that doesn't mean that we are not still expanding our family.
On New Year's, Amy came home with a diamond ring. She is now officially engaged, looking to get married sometime around May. Her young man is named Jerrom and they went to high school together at West Jordan. They have been dating for a pretty long time, so it isn't too unexpected from that point of view.
I know you all will wish them the best. It is hard to imagine that so many of you were there bouncing her up and down on your knees in our apartment in Taylorsville to now hear wedding bells for that same little girl. I'll let you know more details as they are known. "Sunrise, sunset" is playing in the distance . . . I feel old now.
